January 6: Star of your own life
You are the star of your life! You are the headlining actor of your story!
Are you content with the progress that you made? Have you made any mistakes that let others take away your star power?
You are the star of your life! You are the headlining actor of your story!
Are you content with the progress that you made? Have you made any mistakes that let others take away your star power?
Why, How, When, Who, What, and Where?
1) Why are you looking for wisdom?
2) How can the wisdom you discover help others?
3) When will you put the wisdom to use?
4) Who will you share the wisdom with?
5) What are you looking to discover more about?
6) Where is there something you can do to make the world a better place with the wisdom?
Reflection is not necessarily introspection, but a snapshot of current events and full but a complete reflection along with the reality around you being reflected back to you. Follow with action, Emulate those who you feel are wise. More often than not, you will acquire wisdom along the way. Failure is hard but it teaches you much more than success.Live through events and learn from your (and others) mistakes.
Ali is a superior example of how views change over time.
His many controvertial views while younger became more open as time went on. In a 1975 Playboy interview Ali is quoted to say, "America don’t have no future. America’s going to be destroyed. America’s day is over — and if it doesn’t do justice to the black man and separate, it gonna burn.”
As Ali began to get older and give back to the community his harsh views evolved, like most of us. One of the other things he said was that “a man who views the world the same at 50 as he did at 20 has wasted 30 years of his life.”
